"UN Millennium Campaign Portugal" was established in March 2007, adopting the brand "Objectivo 2015". It seeks to work jointly with CSOs willing to promote the MDGs.

The Campaign is working closely with organisations linked with its three main target groups – youth, faith-based organizations and local authorities.

Objectivo 2015 fosters both grassroots and media-oriented initiatives. It works closely with CSOs at local level to inspire local MDG initiatives and also seeks to maximize media coverage for MDGs initiatives and contents (op-eds).
